Jones Pond Campground & RV Park

Pet Rules

Jones Pond Management Commitment. The owners of Jones Pond are staunch animal lovers and are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for your pets. The majority of pet owners are well aware of common sense guidelines regarding your pet's health and safety, such as not leaving your pet in a warm car, ensuring he or she has ample water available, keeping them on leash to protect their safety. Management will address any concerns in this area. Here's a short list of Pet Rules:

Rule #1 - Proof of Current Vaccinations Required

For the health and safety of your dogs and others you must provide proof that your pet is up to date with the following vaccinations: Rabies, Parvovirus, Distemper, Leptospirosis and Adenovirus. It is also strongly recommend that dogs have their Bordatella shots. For cat owners only a rabies vaccination is required for indoor cats.

Rule #2 - Pets (numbers)

Only 3 dogs or 3 cats are permitted per campsite. Park management must approve pets of any other type.

Rule #3 - Leashes

All pets must be on a leash at all times, both on and off your site. The only exception to this rule is in our Off Leash Dog Area, located across the Pond. Additional rules are posted in the Off Leash Dog area and must be obeyed at all times.

Rule #4 - Poop & Scoop

Stepping in pet waste is frustrating - please scoop your dog's poop and place it in waste containers (NOT in fire pits).

Rule #5 - Prohibited Areas

No pets are permitted in common areas such as inside and outside the barn, camp store, cafe, bonfires and the pool area.

Rule #6 - Excessive Barking

We love your pets -- we really do. But, if they disrupt others we may have to ask you to remove them from the park. Sorry :(

Rule #7 - Pets - Aggressive Behavior on the Part Of Owners

Jones Pond Management has a ZERO tolerance policy when it comes to animal abuse. Aggressive or abusive actions towards your pet will not be tolerated under any circumstances and will result in a permanent lifetime ban from Jones Pond.
