Pet Rules
Jones Pond Pet Policy
At Jones Pond, we love animals and are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all pets and guests. Most pet owners follow common-sense guidelines—keeping pets hydrated, leashed, and never leaving them in hot vehicles. Management will address any concerns to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Pet Rules:
1. Proof of Vaccinations
All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations, including Rabies, Parvovirus, Distemper, Leptospirosis, and Adenovirus. Bordetella is strongly recommended. Cats require a current Rabies vaccination. Proof of vaccination may be requested.
2. Pet Limit
A maximum of three dogs or three cats per campsite. Other pets require management approval.
3. Leash Policy
Pets must be leashed at all times, except in the designated Off-Leash Dog Area. Additional rules for this area are posted and must be followed.
4. Clean Up After Your Pet
Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of in waste containers—not fire pits.
5. Restricted Areas
Pets are not allowed in various common areas, including inside the barn, café, and pool area. If your dog does not get along with other dogs we ask that you refrain to bringing them to various social events and the community bonfire.
6. Excessive Barking
We love your pets, but excessive barking or disruptive behavior may result in a request to remove them from the park.
7. Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Aggressive or abusive behavior toward pets will result in a lifetime ban from Jones Pond.
Thank you for helping us keep Jones Pond a pet-friendly and enjoyable place for everyone!
